CSA share

Our community supported agriculture program spans 20 weeks June through October with a separate winter share, 6 weeks through the months of November-January. The share is farmer's choice which means each week we select those veggies that are at their peak of freshness. This means in the spring there are lots of greens and cool loving roots like radishes and salad turnips. As the summer temperatures rise the share has more heat loving crops like tomatoes, peppers and eggplants and the long season roots like potatoes and onions. The fall months have the greatest diversity - summer veggies continue to produce, winter squashes start to come in and the cooler season crops make a come back. With some varieties like lettuce, salad mix, carrots and broccoli we use succession plantings throughout the season to keep the staples in your share all season (weather dependent).

It doesn't take a culinary trained chef to cook and enjoy our fresh, delicious produce, you just need to have an interest in cooking with fresh ingredients and enjoy trying new ways to cook with old favorites.
